A bigger European Union means more opportunities with DHL

On May 1st 2004 ten new countries will join the European Union (EU): Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Alongside the existing 15 EU countries, the new EU will be the world's single largest trading area.

As one of the world's biggest express and logistics companies, DHL can link you into this economic powerhouse:

  • With one of the largest road and air networks in Europe, DHL can deliver more shipments to more destinations anywhere - whether it be Prague, London or Budapest.
  • DHL has some of the latest cut off times available - giving you more time to get things done and still have your package delivered when you need it to be.
  • DHL offers the widest product range - meeting all your shipment needs whether they be express, parcel or freight.
  • DHL has the global expertise in customs clearance ensuring your paperwork is correct and non-EU packages fly through customs.

For customers who ship within the EU, DHL already offers guaranteed express delivery service to more destinations within Europe. With the elimination of customs barriers, all shipments to/from these new EU countries can be delivered faster!

DHL provides more choice, more flexibility and more reliability for customers. Click here to see more details on the EU enlargement and DHL services.
